Has Minor Dings along the body, However No Damages to. I will use this to help with packaging for posting. Up for sale we have a Hondo 2 Classical Guitar in Great Condition. The case in the pictures is included but very battered, however does provide protection. It is in good condition for its age and plays nicely. I expected the magnetic pickup to sound electric guitarish but it still carries the warmth of the acoustic body.I suspect this was a budget guitar in its day.
The guitar has a lovely tone unplugged and plugged into either socket sounds great. The first is a piezoelectric sound board pickup and the second is a magnetic single coil sized stacked humbucker which has the volume and tone controls. Both pickups feed a separate jack socket so you could send to a stereo amp or 2 separate channels or even 2 separate amps. The guitar has been fitted with 2 pickups which function completely independently of each other. At the end of 1976, under the name Hondo II, models were released that were based on the Fender Stratocaster and the Gibson Les Paul. Model number appears to be FG-8500 although this is pretty faded. This auction is for a Hondo Acoustic guitar.
